Magical May...

This month I'm loving...

* The smell of suncream * sitting out in the garden * a boy trying to sell subscriptions to magazines coming up to me in the street and saying 'you're under 25 aren't you' as a statement, not a question...hurrah! * Sarra Manning replying to one of my tweets, she's been one of my favourite authors since I was about 11 and used to read her in J17! * wearing dresses to work * ice lollies * ice cream and chocolate sauce * planting all my seeds * dangly earrings * reading Adorkable (Sarra Manning) and getting started on the next book in the Diana Gabaldon series * cool breezes * making my garden beautiful * frog spotting * swallows * strawberry laces and rainbow sweeties in the staff kitchenette at work * my new little houseplant * summer hair cut - swishy! * charity shopping * crocheting *

Pretty flower!

I've been working on making a bag from granny squares, this is my progress so far, I love how colourful it is!   I've also been making fold-up-able shopping bags from my towering pile of vintage fabric!

What have you been up to this month?  Hope you've had a good 'un!

  1. Hi Sooz,
I'm trying to get to grips with my garden, there's still a lot of catching up to do, not much time to sit and enjoy it I'm afraid.
I'm also working my way through my list of 'crafty' things to do for Etsy, just put on some 'hands free kits' !
Also trying to get my head around my next blog which will be about vintage items, and hopefully set up a seperate Etsy shop for those - not fabric stuff - bric-a-brac items, I still have a lot to go, and just don't seem to get a good price on Ebay.
    That's about it really.

    1. Sounds like you've been a busy bee! Make sure you find some time to sit in your garden and enjoy the sunshine (if it ever comes back!) Your Etsy shop is looking lovely, I like all your raggy things! I have loads of old t-shirts waiting to be made into rag rugs, but I have lots of other things to make first!

  2. All sounds wonderful!

We are loving the sunshine, eating outside, watching the birds. We've been working far too much, but after tomorrow - we're giving ourselves 4 days off!

    Have a good weekend Sooz!

    Kay :)
