I was so happy when I spotted this basket in the window of one of my local charity shops with a nice big £3 price tag on! I ran in and snaffled it straight away!
I've no way of telling if it's actually Lloyd Loom or just Lloyd Loom-esque, I can't find a label on anywhere to tell me, but I don't mind either way, I like the shape and style of it. This basket fits in lovely in the conservatory and will be useful to keep my wool in. My husband has pointed out that not all of my wool will fit in this basket, so I'd better keep my eye out for another!

Have you bought any lovely bargains lately?

Lovely basket - I do so love things that are gorgeous and practical. I too am not bothered by whether something is the posh version or a copy it is more the look that is important to me. That and the fact that I am re-using something rather than it going to landfill. Your basket looks perfect in your conservatory, great find :)
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm all for saving something all the things from landfill! :)
DeleteThat is a bargain!
ReplyDeleteI've not had too many myself recently, but a lady has started bringing in current edition magazines so I've had a couple of them for 99p. I wouldn't have paid full price for them (one was £9.95!!!) but I do love a magazine occasionally, they're such a waste of money I find them luxurious!
I like magazines too, nice to be able to pick up some for a bargain, all there seems to be in my local charity shops are old copies of People's Friend and Woman's Weekly!
DeleteWhat a bargain, looks great there and such a fab place to store your wool (some of it at least 😉) X
ReplyDeleteThank you :D
DeleteThat is beautiful AND a bargain!!! I got a lovely music-print top for £1.99 and my sister got two pairs of jeans for 99p each!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kezzie! Yey for your bargains too! :D
DeleteLovely basket. I love the shape and that it has a top. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Vintage Charm.
