I have crafting schizophrenia at the moment, I have about 17 projects on the go at the moment!
Yesterday I made this, I'm thwarted by a lack of green/purple t shirts now and can't get it finished until I've found more! My mum took one look at this and decided it was hers for the kitchen (it matches her new washing up bowl!)...

I'm also going great guns with my crochet starburst flower blanket, there are 25 squares here, I plan on making 200, so I'm 1/8th of the way through!
Are you making anything at the moment?
Oh wow! I love your choice of colours in the t-shirt rug! I struggle to crochet circles... could you share how you did that? How many stitches... where do you crochet in the same stitch etc... as mentioned before newby alert! Your starburst blanket looks gorgeous too... ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Carolyn :) I kind of made it up as I went along, but next time I make one (which will be soon, eventually I want to make some to sell so I have to practice!) I'll try to write down what I'm doing and take photos for you! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sooz... ;-) I can't seem to get a circle going... it always 'buckles' like too many stitches or too few then it starts resemble a hat... deary me! I would love to do a t-shirt rug too. It seems easier than the other rag rug you are doing with hesian? Thanks as always for sharing and inspiring me!
ReplyDeleteAhh yes, I know what you mean, circles are tricky, i have to do a lot of laying it on the floor to see if it's flat, then adding stiches or ripping ones out! I'm kind of getting there now though!! It's loads easier and quicker than the other rug, which is about 1/2 finished now, it's in my 'I'll get round to finishing that' pile for now!
