I bought this lovely little piece of batik-ed fabric for 20p!!!!!!!!!
I love all the little details (the fabric is about 18 inches square), and the little birds in their houses and the orange-y-ness of it...and the fact it was 20p!
Have you found anything marvelous in the charity shops recently?

That's a lovely piece of fabric - what are you going to make with it ? a lined bag perhaps ?
ReplyDeleteThanks Wean, I think so too! I'm going to frame it in some way and put it up on my wall, i wouldn't trust myself not to ruin such a lovely bit of fabric by making something with it, my sewing machine is notoriously naughty and would probably eat it!
DeleteI love it, and the colours are awesome. I've started to pick up some bits for my new veggie venture in South Wales. Hope your well Sooz x
ReplyDeleteI am well thanks! I read about your supper club plans, they sounds really exciting and I can't think of a better person to do it! All your food always looks so yummy I'm sure you'll be a big success!
DeleteOh isn't it fab? What a great price! Are you making something or framing it? It would make a nice picture. Thanks for linking up.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting the link up! I'm going to frame it I think!
DeleteWow - it's lovely!
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing it framed!
Kay :)
I have to search the charity shops for the right frame now!
DeleteTry boot sales for picture frames - sooz, much cheaper.
ReplyDeleteGo to the one in 'our' Town Centre on Sunday mornings, you'll find great stuff there.
regards
I didn't know that one was still going, we used to go as kids but then it changed and seemed to be mostly stall selling new, cheap stuff rather than a car boot, I shall have to try it again! Thanks for the tip! :)
DeleteIt's very good sooz - give it a try. Don't think there's any 'commercial' stalls there now, except the usual hot dog stands of course.
