Charity Shop Treasure...Retro Mugs, Jugs and Tea Cups...

It's mugs and jugs this week!  I've actually had some of these for a while, just haven't got round to showing you them yet...

I saw this mug, looked at the bottom, looked at the price tag and ran to the till!

It was 25p!

These were £1.75 for the set of 3...I have a matching jug somewhere too!

I got these for something like £1.50 for a set of 4...this one makes a nice plant pot!

And this cute little jug for 75p too!

Have you bought any treasures recently?

Linking up with Lakota's  Ta-Dah Tuesday!

  1. I'm sure I've just seen the matching jug on a blog today! What a score on the Liberty mug, god bless those myopic grannies doing the pricing!

    1. Yes, I do love charity shops staffed by sweet old ladies, soo much better than those given the Mary Portas Treatment!

    1. Thank you! I'm a sucker for anything with a floral print on it!

  3. Great finds! Would you believe I found the exact same orange set in a charity shop months ago? One of the cups is now my pincushion! Is that a lovely Blythe doll I see hiding behind the cups?

    1. We obviously have great taste in orange vintage crockery! I love making teacups into pincushions, I bet yours is pretty! I just bought 2 plates in the same pattern from a junk shop today...50p each very happy!

And yes, that is a Blythe doll, she's very pretty, I wanted one for ages, but now I've bought one I don't have time to do anything with her, I'm debating with myself about sticking her on Ebay, but I can't quite make myself do it!

  4. Exactly! I have a great lot of mismatched cups and plates, but I think if they were all the same I'd get bored.
What a gorgeous doll, I'd love one, some day. I'd say hold on it if you can she looks very happy where she is!!!
