Make One Small Change - Join your Local Council's Community Panel.

Adopting eco friendly habits is easier taken one small step at a time.  Lots of small changes add up to a big difference.

It doesn't sound very glamorous, but I've joined my local councils community panel, meaning I get sent surveys to fill in to give my opinions on various issues.

You might be wondering how this amounts to an eco friendly change, so I'll explain.

I fill my surveys with as many eco friendly, people friendly, or any other lefty answers I can think of.  Even though my local council is Labour,  my county has a conservative MP and the UK has a tory central government. I think it's important to take any opportunity to make politically left voices heard.

A quick internet search will tell you if your local council has a community panel, and how to join it.  Are you part of yours?

  1. That's a great idea. If we want change for the environment then we do have to make the effort for our voice to be heard.x
