Photo an hour, October 2017.

Saturday 28th was October's photo an hour day, here are my photos.

Photo an hour in organised by Jane and Louisa, anyone can join in and post their hourly photos on social media throughout the day tagging them #photoanhour.  Why don't you join in next time?

9am - Setting off for work a bit earlier than usual, it was the day of the library book sale and I was on setting up duty.

10am - Voila!  Here is the library book sale, just waiting for some customers.

1pm - That was a busy morning at work, but I'm pleased with my £1 bargain book sale purchase of Terence Conran's House Book.  This is an eighties edition, I had the seventies one and it was much better but I gave it away (whyyy!).

2pm - There's nothing like a child's dinner after a busy morning.

3pm - I wanted to do some gardening but it was so cold, so instead I'm re-watching That Seventies Show on Netflix.  I haven't seen it since it was originally shown on TV, it's so good and I love the costumes and sets.

4pm - Got the washing on.

5pm - What a grey day!

6pm - Joe got home from work and finished off making his Lego Ecto One and now it's in pride of place on the book shelves.

8pm - Here I am, looking very grumpy and serious as I'd just woken up from a nap!  I got about 4 hours sleep on Friday night and was completely knackered. #bedhead

9pm - I lit some cute little Halloween candles and cosied up for the night.

Photo an hour, September 2017.

Saturday the 26th was August's photo an hour day, here are my photos.

8am - Tidying away my autumnal potato prints from last night's Rainbows/Brownies (safe to say I came home covered in paint!).  I'd been up since 7 waiting for a delivery, but stayed cosy in bed until the delivery man called to say he was on his way.

9am - The delivery arrived!  It's my new chair for in the dining room, unfortunately I've completely failed at clearing a space for it, and Joe's doing some DIY in the kitchen so it had to go in the middle of the floor.

10am - I had plans to plant things in the garden.

11am - I was planning on moving and doing stuff, but then this film came on that I've already seen a zillion times and I got sucked into watching it again.

12pm - My nice husband made potatoes and suggested we watch Gardener's World while we ate them.

1pm - Bit of garden pottering, these raspberries have been so good this year.

2pm - I was still crocheting this on last months photo an hour day too!

4pm - After a couple of hours of furniture moving I finally got the chair into it's corner, and the kitchen looking a bit tidier!

5pm - Time for a rest - alternating between playing Words with Friends against my mum, reading the paper and eating home grown raspberries.

8pm - I wasn't going to bother taking any more photos, as I was just being cosy, reading, crocheting and watching TV for the rest of the night, but then I noticed RON SWANSON in an episode of the Gilmore Girls and couldn't keep it to myself!

11pm - Bed and book, goodnight!

Photo an hour, August 2017.

1pm - Yep, I had a totally long lie in like a teenager.  This is what happens when I don't set an alarm!  Here is my brunch.

2pm - Out to get some fruit and veg for the week.

3pm - I bought and carried home this lovely tall and slightly awkward plant.

4pm - Ice lolly break.

 5pm -I'm re-watching The Gilmore Girls again!

6pm - Sorting out my strawberry runners and hoping at least some of them will take, and grow in the very clay-y side garden.

7pm - I spotted this sticker on my evening walkies.

8pm - Hello Moon.

9pm - I'm making something.  And I'm surprised I can still remember how to crochet it's been so long!

10pm - Mmmm clean sheets.

11pm - This book is sooo good!

Photo an hour, July 2017.

Saturday the 15th was July's photo an hour day, here are my photos.

Photo an hour in organised by Jane and Louisa, anyone can join in and post their hourly photos on social media throughout the day tagging them #photoanhour.  Why don't you join in next time?

11am - Joe worked a late shift the night before, and neither of us slept brilliantly, so we had a lie in.  I checked my seedlings as soon as I got up - I'm waiting for things to grow!

12pm - After 2 years of looking for a second hand armchair that doesn't smell funny and that we can get delivered (because we don't have a car) we've given up and bought a new one online.  Hope it's comfy!  We're having a real crackdown on getting the house nice, we're sick of living in a mess of unfinished projects.

1pm - I feel like my photo an hour days are always so boring, I tend to use the weekends to chill out and get life and house stuff done, sorry!  Having said that I deep cleaned the bathroom and washing machined the shower curtain and bath mat.

2pm - Quick sweetie break.

3pm - Still on the theme of boring Saturday, we bought a new hoover and it's loovley!

4pm - Watching Parks and Recreation before Joe goes off to work again.  We've watched an unhealthy amount of this over the last couple of weeks!

5pm -  Just checking out my huge courgette.

6pm - And my little oak tree has pretty new leaves.

7pm - Perfect tea, vegan fish finger and chip sandwich.

8pm - 400+ page book about permaculture and vegan chocolate ice cream = a rock and roll Saturday night.

9pm - A bit of Lego before bed, can you tell what it is yet?

Did you take part this time?  How was your day?

This time last year I was also mooching about the house and binge watching TV, and in 2015 I was gardening and charity shopping.

Photo an hour, June 2017.

Saturday the 17th was photo an hour day, in Susieland this is an excellent date because it's nice and neat, 17/6/17 - I always think I'll have a better day when the date's a nice number.  Here are my photos.

10am -  Feeling very hayfever-y so I took a long time to wake up - sofa + tissues + weetabix in the meantime.

11am - Plan for today involved doing at least 3 loads of washing so it can dry in the sunshine.  I think this makes me officially old.

12pm - I pulled a few weeds up in the garden and admired these pretty flowers.

1pm - I regretted my choice to go to the market, it was suuuuuuper hot, but 2 older ladies stopped me to say they liked my dress, so that was something.

2pm - My lunch is home-grown salad, and couscous with chickpeas.

3pm - Second lot of washing out, third lot of washing in.  Not the most exciting of days.

7pm - I lost a couple of hours to a nap, then woke up really sleepy and out of it.  But I still managed to watch Doctor Who.

8pm - Watering the pots outside just as the light caught this pretty foxglove.

9pm - I wanted to watch this when it came out, but no cinemas near me showed it, thanks to Netflix I got to watch it at last!
