Despite Lancashire's council saying no to fracking, the government is pushing to control and overthrow this decision. There's an online action to ask to keep Lancashire frack free from Friends of the Earth.
"The Government has decided to take Lancashire's locally made democrativ decision away from local people - meaning there is a real risk this could be overturned by ministers in Westminster. If fracking is forced on Lancashire, it could be forced on all of us."
