Make one small change - ditch the wrapping paper.

Adopting eco friendly habits can be easier taken one small step at a time.  Lots of small changes add up to a big difference.

An easy change you can make in time for Christmas is to ditch shop bought wrapping paper.  There are tonnes of ideas for alternatives to be found online, from making origami boxes to using your kid's artwork.

I like to keep it simple, so I use newspaper or fabric to wrap my presents.  The UK uses 83 million square metres of wrapping paper each Christmas, so it makes sense to recycle that newspaper or use that old scarf to wrap your gifts.

How do you wrap your Christmas presents?

  1. Last year I made a bunch of fabric bags from scraps that I had lying around. They are bright and festive patterns, but not necessarily Christmas-y, so I have used them throughout the year for birthdays and for Christmas. I put the gift in and tie the open end with ribbon :)

    1. That's such a good idea, I always mean to do something like that but I never quite get round to it in time, maybe this year!

      Thanks for visiting :D x

    1. Yey! Sounds good to me, I have no handmade tags, but some stickers with to/from I bought ages ago to use up.
