I spotted some cool street art in Birmingham this week,
The last 2 photos are the side of the old Birmingham library building, it's currently being knocked down so this will probably be the last time I see it.
Do you have interesting graffiti and street art where you are?
Don't forget to check out my other street art photos!
What a shame the library art will vanish - it looks almost latin american style- our street art here consists mainly of kids scratching their names on trees - not much else!
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of felt tip graffiti near where we live, but a 40 minute train ride to the city reveals actual pretty street art! :)
DeleteThese are amazing! One of the many things Leicester lacks is decent street art. My favourite place for great art has to be Bristol, although Manchester holds its own too.
ReplyDeleteI've only been to Bristol once but I was in awe of the street art there, so much and so pretty! (and I saw a Banksy one too!)
DeleteBrilliant pictures. No street art here in clitheroe unfortunately :( but i've seen some in Manchester.X
ReplyDeleteIt always seems that there's more creative graffiti in cities than in smaller towns.
Deletei haven't been on your blog for sooo long, it changed so much. i like what i see now that i came to visit! :) nice street art! we have a place here where all the buildings in the whole yard, even the bins are grafittied, but otherwise nothing as cool as these.
ReplyDeleteThanks Aniko :D Graffitied bins do sound cool though! :D
DeleteThe bird on the library us super! What a shame it is going to be culled!x
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm sad the old library building is being demolished, it's a really cool, retro building :(
DeleteLove street art, especially the kind that takes over the whole side of a building. Detroit has a lot of street art so it's great just driving around and passing it on the way to somewhere.
ReplyDeleteOh me too, I always wonder how they did it, I'm sure lots of ladders are involved!
DeleteThese are amazing. Where I live we don't have interesting graffiti but I love street art.
ReplyDeleteI love it too, directly where I live there's just rubbish graffiti, but take a train 40 minutes into the city and there's loads more creative stuff!
