Photo an hour, September 2016.

This month's photo an hour day was Saturday 24th.
Photo an hour in organised by Jane and Louisa, anyone can join in and post their hourly photos on social media throughout the day tagging them #photoanhour.  Why don't you join in next time?
Here are my photos,
8am - Bit of a grey day, I'm getting up and ready for work.

9am - On my way to work, where I didn't take any photos.

2pm - Oh the joy of coming home and tipping the bin over to retrieve your parcel!

3pm - I'm trying to re-watch the whole of the Gilmore Girls before the new series!

6pm - Sooo, I may have had a nap!  And then watched Jem on Netflix.

7pm - It's really autumn, I have socks on!

8pm - Sometimes only toastie soldiers will do, my last photo of the night, I had a pretty early night and read in bed.

This time last year I was also at work.  The photos from last September make me miss my library, it's all changed now.  Half of the library is now an IT suite with 60 PCs in for the school to use (it's a shared building with a library, gym, school, etc in it) and we're getting ready for the library to stop being a council run library and start being a 'community library' run by volunteers, so I won't work there for much longer (but my job's safe til January, I'll just be sent to another branch, and hope I get a job once we've reapplied for them!).  And our house is so different too, I thought our pink bedroom wall was new, but Joe painted it a year ago!

Did you join in this month?   Let me know if you did, I'd love to have a nosey at your day!

Photo an hour, February 2016.

The day set for this month's photo an hour was Saturday 20th February, and I posted my photos on Instagram throughout the day.

Photo an hour is organised by Jane and Louisa and you can find round up posts on both of their blogs.

Usually I'm at work for photo an hour day, but not this time!  However my plans fell through and I ended up waiting in for a delivery then my Joe had to work late unexpectedly so my day was about as unexciting as usual!

Here's my day,

8am - I had to wait in for our new fridge freezer to be delivered.  We moved the old one out of the way last night, so the kitchen is in even more of a disarray than usual!

9am - Internetting with my breakfast.

10am - Exciting post, lots of lovely seed for my garden, including Very pink swiss chard!

11am - Having a little tidy and listening to Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor.

12pm - Two photos for 12pm (they're off my auntie so I think that's cheating!)  My domestic goddess-ry was interrupted by texts from my mum, my auntie had found some retro curtains in the charity shop where she works, did I want them?  Yes indeedy I did!

1pm - The new fridge freezer arrived, but it needed to stand for at least 24 hours.  This was disappointing because I was planning on playing fridge freezer organisation all afternoon.  I cheered myself up by putting my Delft Miffy magnet from Amsterdam on it though.

2pm - Joe came home early (yey!) but only because he had to go back to work later to cover a shift (boo!).  So he made me a baked potato for lunch and we watched Tattoo Fixers.

3pm - Time for a nap.

4pm - Napping.

5pm - Two fridge freezers in one kitchen do not make for the ideal food prep. area.

9am - my slippy walk to work!

1pm - Part of a poem printed on the path on my way into work.  I didn't take any photos in the library today, we learned 2 weeks ago that the council's proposed response to government cuts could mean closing this branch, I was too sad to take pictures.

2pm - slightly more cheerful, I can never resist the charity shops on my way home.

3pm - Fleecy nightie is on, fleecy blanket is on, yummy mini spring rolls have been cooked for me and are being consumed.

4pm & 5pm -  I was having a little snooze on the sofa!

6pm - I woke up to find a programme about The Gladiators was on the telly.

7pm - I'm doing an online course in business and administration, my next assessment is due on the 19th, I have left it to the last minute to do!

8pm - Still doing my boring coursework, under 2 blankets because it's soo cold and with some much needed motivational chocolate!

9pmMy gorgeous husband-to-be came home from work with a bag of chips to share from the Chinese.  By this point I was distracting myself from coursework by looking at things to do on our honeymoon, we think we're going to go to Aberdovey.  (what do people call their fiances?  I think the word fiance is soo cringey!)

Merry Christmas, happy new year and #25 festive days.

I hope you all had a very merry Christmas!

I took part in a photo challenge on Instagram over the festive period.  Angela set a Christmas-sy theme for each day then we all tagged our photos with #25festivedays, it was really nice to collect my own festive photos and see everyone elses.

These are my photos,

On Christmas day my Joe asked me to marry him, with a beautiful golden daisy ring, I said yes, in the running for our official engagement photo is the one above (the only photo taken of us that day!) of me wearing a child's hat and Joe headbutting my back like a friendly cat.  I think it sums us up pretty well.

I hope you enjoy the end of the year, and that 2016 brings you many happy, lovely and sparkly moments!

Thanks so much for reading and for being my friends in 2015 xxx
